1. SponsorThe Your Best Backyard Summer Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Outdoor Spaces (“Sponsor”). This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, or Instagram.
2. EligibilityThe Giveaway is open to legal residents of Texas who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who own or are authorized decision-makers for a residential swimming pool located within Sponsor’s service area (as defined below). This Giveaway is intended for new customers only. Employees, contractors, existing Outdoor Spaces clients with an active service agreement at the time of entry, and immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible to participate or win. Limit one (1) entry per household. Multiple entries from the same household may result in disqualification.
3. Giveaway PeriodEntries will be accepted during the giveaway period as announced in Sponsor’s promotional materials (“Giveaway Period”). Sponsor’s systems shall serve as the official time-keeping device.
4. How to EnterEntry methods will be described in Giveaway promotional materials. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win. Automated, bulk, fraudulent, or mechanically reproduced entries are prohibited and will be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion. Complimentary on-site water tests are limited to one (1) per address, regardless of how many residents from that address enter the Giveaway.
5. Prize DescriptionOne (1) grand prize winner will receive weekly full-service pool care provided by Outdoor Spaces for ten (10) weeks beginning at a date to be determined after the winner is announced. Outdoor Spaces will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner and arrange a mutually agreed upon start date. Unclaimed winnings expire December 31, 2026. The Grand Prize applies to residential pools with a water volume of 10,000–20,000 gallons. Pools exceeding 20,000 gallons are not eligible for full-service coverage under the Grand Prize; however, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, offer an equivalent service discount or credit toward weekly pool service for the duration of the prize period. Full-service pool care includes brushing pool walls and shelves; skimming the pool surface to remove debris; vacuuming the pool floor; water testing; and chemical treatments as needed to maintain sanitized and balanced water. Service visits are limited to one (1) visit per week with a maximum on-site service time of one (1) hour per visit. 6. Complimentary Water Test Requirement All individuals who submit an entry for the Giveaway will be offered a complimentary on-site pool water test and basic pool evaluation performed by Outdoor Spaces. In order to remain eligible for the Grand Prize drawing, the entrant must allow Outdoor Spaces to perform the complimentary water test at the property where the pool is located. The water test and evaluation will be provided at no cost and with no obligation to purchase services. Acceptance of the complimentary water test does not require the entrant to purchase any services or enter into a service agreement with Outdoor Spaces. As part of this promotion, entrants who choose to enter into a weekly pool service agreement following their complimentary water test may receive $25 off their first week of service. Participation in any paid service agreement is completely optional and not required to enter or win the Giveaway.
If an entrant declines the complimentary water test or does not allow Outdoor Spaces reasonable access to perform the evaluation, the entrant may be disqualified from the Grand Prize drawing, at Sponsor’s discretion.
6. Services Not Included & Additional ChargesThe following are not included in the Giveaway prize: repairs of any kind; leak detection; equipment repair or replacement; parts or materials; specialty chemicals or specialty treatments. Additional service requests outside the defined full-service scope may incur additional charges. Outdoor Spaces will notify the pool owner in advance of any services that would result in additional charges. No such services will be performed without approval. Chemical treatments will be performed in good faith with permission from the pool owner. The need for chemical treatments and the type of chemicals used will be determined solely by Outdoor Spaces. Owner-requested specialty treatments or chemicals may result in additional charges, which will be disclosed prior to service.
7. Pool Condition & ServiceabilityIf the winning pool is deemed unserviceable due to inoperable or faulty equipment, neglect, vandalism, unsafe conditions, pre-existing structural issues, or other conditions beyond Sponsor’s control, the prize may be forfeited, postponed, or modified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or delay service due to weather conditions, safety concerns, access issues, or circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control.
8. Service AreaServices are limited to the following neighborhoods in Amarillo, Texas: Hillside Terrace, Greenways, Colonies, Sleepy Hollow, Puckett West, Belmar, Puckett, City Park, Western Plateau, Ridgecrest, Olsen, Paramount, and Wolflin. Sponsor also services River Falls and Lake Tanglewood. Unlisted neighborhoods in Amarillo, Canyon, and surrounding areas may be serviced at Sponsor’s discretion.
9. On-Site Evaluation & Access RequirementsThe complimentary on-site pool evaluation and consultation is considered an in-person service. To receive this service: the pool owner or authorized adult must be present; pets must be secured; pool and equipment areas must be accessible; and a liability waiver must be signed prior to service. Failure to meet these requirements may result in forfeiture of the evaluation and any related promotional benefits. If the pool owner is not present at the scheduled time, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule at its discretion.
10. Winner Selection & NotificationThe winner will be selected at random from eligible entries. Sponsor will attempt to notify the winner using the contact information provided at entry. Failure to respond within a reasonable timeframe may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.
11. Prize ConditionsThe prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be substituted or exchanged. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
12. TaxesWinner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with acceptance or use of the prize, if any.
13. Liability ReleaseBy participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from any claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising out of participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize, except where prohibited by law.
14. PublicityBy accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, photographs, and general location for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
15. PrivacyInformation collected from entrants will be used solely for administering this Giveaway and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy practices.
16. Social Media DisclaimerThis Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering, participants release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility related to the Giveaway.
17. General ConditionsSponsor reserves the right to: disqualify any participant who violates these Terms & Conditions; cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond Sponsor’s control compromise its integrity; interpret and apply these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion.
